I think the Piano Bar was actually inside the Queen's Hotel.Back to this pub called the Harlequin. Today, or last time I passed, it's just a pair of closed doors with a handrail either side. But look at this picture on Leodis:http://www.leodis.org/display.aspx?reso ... 54516238It was MUCH bigger then wasn't it, that entrance? Note it's between the Queen's and the former Tatler. If you look on Google Streetview, you can make out, I think, where it's been bricked up.

If you zoom in on that picture you can make out (only just) that there's a canopy over the doors and something either side, that makes it look bigger. The view on streetview shows where the canopy and other stuff was.

I saw these metal tiles down King Charles Street outside the back of Specsavers and next to the Core Car Park. I have no idea what they are but would be interested to know if anyone knows. It appears there are a pair of eyes, a megaphone, cup of tea, flute/ oboe type of thing and other unknown symbols. Any clues as to what they are or why there?
