Both have been mentioned on here Zoenel. The Cattle Market was demolished around 40 years ago. The Lord Nelson is still standing, but sadly closed around two years ago and is now boarded up. I took the above photo in July 2007.

there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.

Is the Sheepscar WMC still a WMC, as when passing by recently I've noticed that it no longer has a Sheepscar WMC sign? The outside has also been spruced up and there are lots of new shrubs and plants. It may just be a makeover and that it is still going as it was, but I'm wondering if it may be otherwise.

I'm pretty sure that it is no longer a WMC or a CIU affiliate. I seem to remember that it went private two or three years ago.Regards.

Thanks Hats Off.As I was posting this reply I noticed that this thread has 90 pages with 2,234 posts but an amazing 699,442 views. The 'Things You Don't See Anymore' thread has 94 pages and more posts at 2,347 but far fewer views at 292,616. Clearly threads on pubs (or beer) are very popular to read!

Passing by earlier today (Dec 23 2010) I noticed the building is now called "The Sheepscar" (unless there is more to be added to the name sign).
