Thanks for that STICKS. certain mods have been bending over backwards for the past two days thinking of a way to maybe hold out some kind of olive branch to you.Various emails back and forth trying to work the problem out then in one fell swoop you show your true colours.I just hope nobody removes this thread.Let this be a little 'thankyou' message to all the SL users who have felt the need to jump to your defence at every available instance! Do you suffer from some kind of attention deficit disorder?? *editNow that is what i would call 'nastiness' and 'disgraceful' to coin a phrase.

I objected to people descending to the same level of nastiness. Should have been banned at the first threat of violence, imho.

I don't think Brandy has named anyone here as far as i can see. I know Brandy is one of the biggest peace keepers on this forum. His 'end of discussion' lines are famous.I just think Brandy is very aware of the behind the scenes activity in trying to sort out this trouble, which i must add the majority of Secret Leeds users are not aware of. I don't blame him for feeling exasperatedI myself spent the last two days writing countless e-mails to various members to give Sticks one last chance. I like Brandy feel i have completely waisted my time when things like this happen. I wouldn't take it personally Geordie t.b.h.

Not at all I don't think Geordie, mereely reusing the phrae, attriuting it to a specific poster.More effort than will ever be seen has gone into seeking a positve outcome here. I think this will be the end of the matter.

Ladies and GentlemenIll let you know what has been going on behind the scenes.The mods and a few others have been exchanging messages,along with the admins,as to how we could possibly try and once more bring STICKS in with all of us,despite what he has said about various members,including myself.We were actually going to offer an olive branch and as STICKS to the do,so he could see we werent bad people after all.This was initiated by Phil_d and Jonesy,with myself coming on board along with Chameleon and Liits.I,along with those named,were coming around to believing we could have handled things better,and perhaps actually encouraging STICKS to come along would help heal the rift.Unfortunateley those lingering doubts as to whether this course of action was wise have now been found to be proven,and therefore STICKS has now,i believe,been banned.Very sad despite the number of occasions on offer to have been banned before.Just for the record-Personally i have NOT edited or removed any posts of STICKS,though i did close a thread.There are 10 mods who are/were able to delete posts.However,i do not believe any of them were actually deleted,the multiple postings of the same messages without any actual content were down to the posters inabilty to post correctly.I for one am all for keeping this thread open.nad just for the record,yes Brandy,spot on.

Anthonydna/Whyme I think the thread title and first post of "You" combined are a two word phrase used to display dislike/disrepect for someone or a group of people. The title being an "Anglo Saxon" expletive is as per the software on here "edited for content". A great deal of patience has been shown visibly by a lot of Secret Leeds posters and am sure a similar level has been displayed behind the scenes by the Forum's volunteer moderators in the face of great provocation from one individual but I don't think anyone can now deny that the individual must now be excluded from posting on SL.Yes some have defended the individual in giving them the benefit of the doubt but now I think that doubt has been removed.

Am I still a mod on here? I ask as I can still still see/do all the mod stuff I could before but I recieved NO emails on this matter. I did NOT delete any of Sticks threads I CLOSED the one where violence was threatened, and explainred why. At first I found him pleasant and very helpful over his stick making and selling, but he seemed to get a bee in his bonnet over the slightest thing that didn't go his way. I was in two minds whether to stay on here or not and popped in now and again to see the outcome of all this kafuffle. If he has been banned then good riddance and if he tries to join under a pseudonym I think he will be easy to spot. Now back to business.
