OOPS! best be careful what I say 2u now!I tried boxing in the RAF but one biff on me nose and I said 'No thanx!' (Allus was a coward!)'I think you'll find that St Pat's was an RC church on York Rd. which had a thriving Boy's Club and Gym. When the church was decommissioned(?),I think the Boy's Club carried on. Don't know if it's still going, butI believe they turned out some good Amateur Boxers there?I dunno if this has been posted, but Wyther Park Bramley mixed schoolhas just been demolished. Looks like a giant allotment withrailings at the moment! Lovely building too which could have been put to good use. Don't know what will be built on the site.Ugly flats,no doubt!Cheers,Carrotol.Arry

It is now used as a store for the West Yorkshire Playhouse, with the congregation moved to a new much smaller church on Torre Road Also Mount St.Mary, clearly visible from St. Pats,is supposed to be the biggest church in the country. There was some talk in the E.P about converting it into flats.
