Neither tracks running over the Holbeck viaduct or the Midland railway that ran through Holbeck conected with either the Holbeck high or low level stations anyway, They came in straight through canal jnct & totally missed them.

By the way if you see JSB's Lemi subway then thats another Leodis mistake as they have it down as a mill goit. It's not because i found the goit! http://flickr.com/search/?q=holbeck%20railway&w=all

You're gonna hate me for this Phill! but heres another Leodis Pic - this is 1932 and taken from a virtually identical spot to the original mystery pic.Leodis labels it as;"Gelderd Road, Railway Bridge"and"5 February 1932 View looking underneath Railway Bridges in direction of Wellington Bridge." - i.e. point No1 on Rikj's map. -and taken at the same time as the 'Appleyards' pic I posted above

Drapsey. Just look into the Midland & G.N.R history in Leeds. No matter how many different pictures from whatever angle of any type of bridge you may find your wrong. I've said all i can on this matter!
