Not sure if its mentioned anywhere. The Wellington on Hunslet Low Road having been closed for a considerable while is being converted into an orthopaedic centre (if the sign on the railings is anything to go by)

I'm probably being very premature in mentioning it under 'Leeds lost pubs' but I notice that the Penny Fun pub in the Moor Allerton Centre is advertising for someone to run the business. It could be a sign that it might not be doing well. It will be interesting to see what happens. The Skinners Arms pub on Sheepscar Street/Scotthall Road has been advertising for someone to buy that for ages, but it looks to me like it is doomed.

To be honest , and I think we've mentioned this before on this thread, If we're going to mention every pub with a sign like that outside we might as well set up another website cos there'll be so much traffic! The Ancestor is boarded up yet again - how many times is that ? 4?
there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.

The Royal in Armley is open again today, and looks very presentable. The Queens in Burley Road is open but a notice is offering someone else the opportuntiy to run it.The Duttons in Queenswood Drive was "torched" a few days ago but survived.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

Apologies drapesy for posting what I thought might have been of interest to the topic, but which clearly was not to at least you. I had not read all of the previous 85 pages.
