has anybody noticed how old the microsoft bing maps are ?i moved to my house around 6 years ago, and i can see on the bing aerial pictures things that disappeared long before i moved here.compare the two pictures of the same area. google maps is pretty new, perhaps 1 year old. microsoft bing is 6+ years old. i can even see houses and a street that don't exist any more....however, quite interesting.

Dating these things is a regular occupation on here! There are certainly differences and it is clear that different areas are newer than others, Google Earth usually seeming to come out on top.Bing Maps was originally Live search Maps till Microsoft changed things. Here there are significant differences not only between aerial and bird's eye views but, even the different orientations of the same vies in bird's eye mode.
