For some illogical reason I seem to recall stromgly that its address was "Cecil Road, Armley, Leeds 12."
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

Hi Chris,I suspect that you may be thinking of Moorfield Laundry.Ian Thanks Ian - that may well be so - I had no idea why I remembered the address so clearly as I have never been a customer of such a facility in Armley, so there we are.

Hygenic Laundry - Cecil Road LS12 (Back of Armley Park School)Moorfield Laundry - Edinburgh Grove LS12 (Just off Town Street, top end)Most of my family (mam & dad, grans, uncles & aunts), including me, worked at the Hygenic at one time. Sadly though nearly all are gone to the great washouse in the sky. It was the mid 70's when I worked there.
