The only evidence of an entrance is this arch which is directly under Neville Street to the left of the pillars in the picture above.

To the right, behind the concrete pillars is ankle deep mucky water ans some empty 'plant' rooms. Very dark and hard to see.

General view of the far end, note the rounded end of the pier, to allow water flow right to left? The modern intrudes and holds up the steel. I'm guessing this is related to holding up the east end of City House whci stands over Nevile Street.

Nice bit of photography there!I'll have to look at them in more detail later. The two types of older stonework, and newer brickwork are very evident seen together.

So where does King's Mill goit go? Through the arches parallel to Swinegate. You can see the goit arch in the viaduct in the in the arches that run towards Swinegate. Most are blanked off at the Swingate end but one of the arches goes all the way through. On the 1847 map this seems to line up with a bridge over the goit, an old right of way? As Swinegate cuts diagonally through the viaduct the arches get shallower as you move east.

This is the 'through' arch. Note the slope up to Swinegate.

Looking back south you can see the goit arch again on the left, there's one on the right as well, not a great photo.
