I don't have the entrance shot no more. I'm sure Rik will dig it out of his over bulging hard drive. I found some old stuff i have i can post on here tho. I'll start with this one of Rik doing a runner when he saw that big spider (only joking mate) He's a brave chap really :-)

Yeah thats the place, i can see that on the link phill has put up he says that the first 3 pics are the ones i want so does that mean the picture with the nasty hagging things(the third picture in phills link) is also part of the same celler?. You say these are sacs containing cave spider eggs? well that does sound horrid i dont want to ever find one of these sacs in my hair i can just see it now opening up and hundreds of spiders exploring in my hair,i kept hearing lots of noises in the water and i think they might have been rats hense my speedy exit from the celler. is there any difference between cave spiders and your common house spider? ill have to check that out. Thanks

The noise in the water is only the water seeping in. it can be magnified out of all proportion underground. you want to hear the noise in the big tunnels! great stuff!

Cave spiders lay their eggs in the hair of passing warm blooded mammals - usually rats but S.Leeds explorers are also fair game! The eggs/larvae burrow under your skin to hatch, using your sweat as nourishment. They cause large blister like growths on your scalp or even your face, which will explode after gestation and release several hundred of the newly born buggers as they do. Wonderful if you are at a posh dinner, or on a romantic date at the time!
You can take the lad out of Leeds - but you can't take the Leeds out of the lad.

hehehe, that cracked me rite up. Id best stay in for a while incase i were to have one of those unfortunate explosions of the face/head you mentioned, thats the last thing you need on a date just as your gazing into each other eyes over the candle lit table and boom, head blows off revealing those pesky cave spiders and resulting in me getting thrown out of the restaurant leaving poor her to pay the bill.
