I think we touched on this before but the YEP, like all Johnstone Press papers in the North, is actually printed overnight in South Yorkshire and then shipped out to the local offices to be delivered. This explains why they are always a day behind with the news, whereas in the old days (when it was a full size paper) the Leeds Final edition could be vastly different to the County edition that had first appeared depending on the days events.
