Does anyone remember what Scholes village was like during WWII. My mother and her family evacuated to Scholes in 1940 and lived in a bungelow called 'Craigmore' in station road. I would be really interested in finding out what life was like in the village at this time, what the local village school was like, and who the local doctor was. Also do you remember a small child called Wendy who lived in Station Road and a boy called Robin who had lots of siblings that lived next door to 'Craigmore'. Any info would be greatly appreciated.Regards Jules
