What happened to last nights(26th) Family notices section ?The acknowledgements were between the birthdaysand whoever compiled the obits must have really had a bad hair day,the alphabetic listing was all over theplace and not for the first time.Obits can end up in thein memorium section as well

I don't think I've ever seen anything worse, and if they had any decency at all they would immediately print a sincere and humble apology to the bereaved.

This week is going well already.Someone who clearly doesn't know Leeds wrote a piece in last nights paper about several fast food delivery drivers being robbed by the same lad in that well known "North Leeds" suburb of Whinmoor.And in tonights paper there is the best part of a page telling us how great Tesco's store at Bramley is (which could very easily have been written by someone in the Tesco marketing department and then cut 'n' pasted into the paper), masquerading as a news article.

East End Park, Burmantofts, Ebor Gardens, the top side of Harehills, Gipton, Halton Moor, Halton, Seacroft, Cross Gates, Swarcliffe, Whitkirk, Austhorpe, Colton etc, so I'd see Whinmoor as East Leeds.Although using my definition you'd also include Garforth, Swillington, Barwick in Elmet, Allerton Bywater and Kippax (amongst others) who I can't see would take too kindly to that description, perhaps.In fact it could be classed as much of the area that used to get the Skyrack Express!But I could well be wrong and it's all open to interpretation isn't it?
