I used to bank at that branch of wetherspoons. Until one day I went to pay a cheque in and it had turned in to a trendy wine bar overnight!

I think its the one that features on the Atkinson Grimshaw Painting on Park Row. This is not number 30 though as 30 is on the opposite side, to the left side of Wetherspoons (Wetherspoons is 28-30)Park Row starts at 1 on the Mill Hill Chapel side, goes up to the Headrow and then goes back down to City Square consecutively See attached pic, is this the one you are thinking of?

I seem to remember it having pinnacles etc. and also being set back from the road, with a level below the pavement and railings. Marshall & Snelgrove on the corner of the Headrow had a similar type basement area with railings.
