The body is a similar shape to a Strat, Chris, but the scratch-plate is a totally different shape, and the bridge is much further back. I can't see the oval lead plug-'ole, either! The black and brown colouring is typical of Burns, too. I'm no expert (sausage fingers - I stick to the harmonica,) but it looks like one a mate of mine had years ago. Just Googled Burns, and it looks like a Burns Split Sound Jazz Model 503.(I'll get me anorak.....)
