Looking back on it, I must have being virtually getting high on the stuff!!! lol. Is it me, or do we not seem to get that glorious smell anymore? Brand new Dinky Toys had their unique aroma, sadly not to be replicated as different metals, and paints now used, and plastic introduced.

Yeah, you're right, not exactly stong, but definately unique. I had a Dinky Thunder Bird 2, complete with "pod 4" which, of course, contained a tiny yellow plastic Thunder Bird 4. For some reason it was painted a sort of metalic blue!? The "real" one on the telly was green!!!Best wishes,Han.
