I think you mean Dysons (the former famous jeweller and pawnbroker) - as far as I know this was a posh restaurant (no doubt with prices to match) which originally at least belonged to the Marriott Hotel when that opened.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

Still, once the good people of Halton can buy everything they need at Tesco, all those other shops won't be needed any more, will they?
