I too remember Laurie English,a real gentleman! I was out of Bramley Garage 1973-93. Do you remember the tyrant Norman Briggs at the Corn ex? he would book you for running 2 mins early. I started on LCT then it went yorkshire Rider,and Metro.I drove the Discovery bus quite a lot on Saturdays around Leeds.It was a good number for a 7th day!

Another one that I have never noticed before, and don't think I've seen on here (someone is bound to prove me wrong).It must have been there at least 21 years though. Any guesses as to where it is though?

Who can forget old Briggsy ?? - one of my best mates at Headingley, a guy with an endless sense of great humour, used to come into the garage chuckling and saying "I've just seen Vesuvius Briggs at Corn Exchange." He called him Vesuvius because he was always erupting
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.
