Harehiils Park / Yorkshire water.

Reading about harehills park, some of you as kids spent more time in cemetery than in the park dint no one lake on the water pipes at the entrance to the park and cemetery. Good place for duffs.

Good place for duffs. no jak they'd fenced it all off when i was a nipper,but i remember mi mam saying she used to play on the pipes in there.

They kept fencing it of when i were a lad,but then we used to un fence it.I will have walk around the old place some time this summer iv not been around that way for years. Hope its not changed too much.

I think the fencing in mine and Brandys time was more substantial,its whats still place now i believe Yes Chris barbed wire,security cameras and the lot.It was always(to me anyway i dont know why lol) one of them places that i was attracted to but could never get inI think what did it was when our old man once took me up on the swings and told me that up at the top of the hill was a big boating lake where the navy tested submarines out lol.I believed him for years until i got google earth lol,,,,,,,,,,,,,(only kidding with the google earth bit here jak do you remember the illusive underground toilets up there then??

I bet there gone now,they were smelly old holes but alright when you were up there all day and needed a [edited for content] , but in my days they never seemed to get vandalized.

both brandy.1st i lived on oak tree walk then i moved to lupton ave.but iwent to coldcotes school so i crossed the park twice a day allways in bother for been late at school.
