After a few false starts the Hark To Rover (great name, not such a great pub) has closed and the shutters and 'all items of value' stickers are up. only a few days ago it was open with the obligatory 'under new management'signsIts going to get worse before it gets better...There does seem to be something going on at the Engine at Hunslet so perhaps thats good news.

Hi Guys Had my 1st pint in the Milford aged 14 The Milford Club was at the side of the Rising Sun went there as well. Do you remember the Star Inn and the Commercial ( I Think ) just further down near the bridge.Bat and Ball

I think the other pubs you mention were the Morning Star and possibly the New Inn - I dont believe there was a Commercial.

We wanted to make Leeds a better place for the future - but we're losing it. The tide is going out beneath our feet.
