Not near the market Reg... If you know your railway stuff that should narrow the location down drastically.. It's in a hid away location-but it was a busy place at one time.

Hey philyou seem to know all the secret places in Leeds, couldn't you be an advisor and get them in charge to set up some sort of trail around 'Secret Leeds'? Could there be a themed walk once a month/couple of months???? By the way, love the photos on flicker, especially the underground tunnel to the various platforms... I had totally forgotten it was ever there.

Well thanks Letty.. You have a good point there. I think Leeds could really do with a heritage walk that's different to the usual bog standard thing. It's something Rikj & myself have been mulling over for a while. We just need a kick start into action. A good book would also be good... A sort of Banksy type (behind the scenes) look of Leeds.. Not the shiny Bridgewater place, town hall stereotype image of the city..

Seems a tad unfair.. Given that you pointed it out to me initially, even though I only live ten min walk from that point! lol. did you see what I posted on the flickr site about the fairly new red brick wall. Behind that is a tunnel that ledt to the same station that this wall plaque is marking. If It's still there, the entrance is on railway land and was still accessible a year or so ago! I'm going to be sticking a photo on the site soon to see if YOU recognise a place and where it leads.. lol. Shouldn't be too hard for a gent of your calibre!
