Anyone know what the plans are for this place? Has potential for something pretty impressive but I'm guessing it will just end up as some giant lapdancing club or nightclub,

The last I heard was that it was going to be turned into a casino and entertainment complex and be restored to it's original state or as near as possible, I'm sure there was something in the evening post about it earlier on this year but I have seen or heard nothing since, possibly on hold now due to the credit crunch.

It was given planning permission to be converted to a casino a couple of years back. Nothing else going on there that I am aware of

I believe its being kept closed by Luminar so that they can drive any potential business to Oceana, their flagship leisure destination. Hmm... It was the same story with Creation (now restored to its T&C-like glory as the Leeds Academy, thankfully.)dsco
