Yes, I noticed that last night too at about 6.30. Mike at the Tarn has mentioned before that it's hardly open at the moment - there's a few takers for the quiz on Thursday nights and a decent handful on Saturday evenings but they never seem to have any cask ale so I don't bother hanging around. It's a far cry from when it was packed out at weekends a few years ago.

I bet Amber knows who I mean - at least if his watch is up to ten minutes fast LOL LOLYes, I think its safe to say that no conductor (or Inspector for that matter) has ever achived the impossible task of getting 100% of the brass out of that particular gang of revellers !! In fact I daresay the record for the best attempt is in single % figures LOL LOL Yes Blakey It was A&D. When I was a Route Inspector in that area I used to find myself in Elland Road at around 22-30 on a Sat night for some strange reason. Although one night I did get a alll to go over as a brave Cdr had asked for a fare and called the Police. I have never seen such big coppers with dogs but the cdr got his fares. Happy days.

If I remember rightly the landlord was Jeff Stephenson (spelling?) who used to play hooker for Leeds.

hi, drapesy. im only half mile from ;great northen and i know some roundabout regulars are frequenting northern.i think my sunday lunch pint tmoz should include the above to get the gossip.i will update as soon AS I KNOW.
