It's all very well harping on about how much Sheffield has, but working there and listening to the people that live there, you'd not be of the same mind. Yes they do have all those things mentioned, but each time the council has funded projects it has very nearly bankrupt them. This in turn has led to massive finacial backing from busineses and thus the council are paying through the nose for their "ammenities"

I was never thinking of Sheffield been better than Leeds. Infact i never think of Sheffield at all. However i do look enviously at our great bitter rivals Manchester & wish this city could follow suit..

That seems to be one of those bad links to flickr again j.f... That seems to be the case with free flickr accounts.

Can you not cut and paste the whole link? I think the '@' sign breaks it.

Try this link instead, if that fails search for 'Leeds lost signal' on Flickr and both pics will show up. I might have to go for a paid account fairly soon as I'm gathering lots of pictures on my walks.http://tinyurl.com/2uvyzg

You've a fine set of pictures there jf, get a pro account, it's worth it. There are some very active Leeds (and railway) groups on flickr. I think the annual sub works out at about 4p a day!
