No article I'm afraid, also had a quick look under "Quarry Hill" in the newspaper index, but you know what that's like so could be under anything! When I get a chance to go again I'll have a look, you've got me intreagued now! Cheers pal.I know it will have to be the microfilms of either the YEP or Leeds Mercury,so it will be a really really long process.

The YEP today (Aug 3 2011) has a report about Quarry Hill Flats on page 16 and 17. It has photos and other things, such as a list of the House names. I have tried to find an online version but, if there is one, I could not readily find it.The YEP does seem to be doing more local history reports recently than it had been doing.

I don't think you will find an on line link Leodian, the article is the pits! It's the worst thing I have ever read in my life !Top right hand page 17 - House names.Where were Hook,North,Oates,Smeaton,Fairburn and Gott houses and in the main text Apsdin and Baynes? There must be as many ficticious ones as real ones.I would object to having my fish and chips wrapped in this and would not offend my nether regions by cutting it into squares in the smallest room.Journalist ? NEVER.Having Sewn the seed in the main test would he like to unpick the stitches and try sowing the seed !

Hi Lee.I made comment about that on the photo. It's the construction of the new Sheepscar beck concrete tunnel. Amazing to see it's on the doorstep of the pub. That tunnel looks like this in 2010.1967 tunnel construction.
