They may have both just shut early due to lack of trade on the night but the Mulberry (Hunslet) and Rose and Crown (Lofthouse) were both in darkness when I passed them just before 11.00 last night.

The Wise Owl, at the junction of Otley Old Road in Leeds and Iveson Approach, is currently under threat as a developer wants to buy the site from Marstons Brewery to build a Health Centre on the Site.See the article on the Evening Post website at:<a href="http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/h ... A picture of the Shoulder of Mutton, on Potternewton Lane. The shutters went up, as reported on here, at the beginning of October. Once a really good local with 4 or more football teams operating from there.

The Hanover in Wortley seems to be open again, not much sign of life at the Squinting Cat in Swarcliffe though.

Spotted Cow in Drighlington reopened on Saturday (8/11/... not been in yet tho
