Leeds lost pubs

I found a drawing of Otley's long gone Melbourne Vaults, as previously mentioned on here, next door to the Bay Horse, which is thankfully still open. (IMHO the best Tetley's in Otley.) Notice the subtle name change after Tetley's aquisition of Melbourne. The black entry in the middle is the ginnel with the opposing pub doorways. I don't know when it closed - 1970s?

That explains the masive piles of peanuts and other savouries stacked falling out of the over-filled bins in the side road, Little Queen Street the other day. I'll enquire of my more reserved if not temporate (ahem) colleagues about its future

there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.
