I also used to like going to the little Italian greasy spoon past Lower Briggate on the way to Tetley's. (In the 80s).

Check up on Wetherspoons pubs - they do good breakfasts, but I'm not sure about the opening hours on Sundays. There is one in Park Row (Beckets Bank), another in Merrion Way (Stick or Twist) a new one next to the Civic Hall (Cuthbert Broderick) and another in the railway station. In the old Leeds Permanent on The Headrow is "Brown's Hotel - I think that may be pricey. I can recommend either the Cuthbert Broderick or Becketts Bank for breakfast. I prefer the Cuthbert though as you can see outside and watch the world pass by in Millenium Square.

You can get breakfast at the Palace.

We went to the Cuthbert Brodrick in the end. Sat in the sunshine eating the full mashing and watching sport on the big screen across the square. Champion!
