There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

We watch it every day - we video it and watch in the evening. I must admit that we "zap thru the cr@p" so it doesn't really matter who presents it - we watch it for the number and word puzzles on the basis of use it or lose it. The audience has apparently declined alarmingly since Richard Whiteley died and the advert breaks are noticeably shorter.Even though I never listened to Richard's waffling at the beginning and at the breaks I think he had the knack of running the show properly unlike Des Lynam who appeared bored silly and Des O'Connor who appears to be senile even though he's only 76. Unlike 'arry who's obviously still got some lead in his pencil if he's ogling Carol. I must admit she's pretty fit for a 45 year old.

Just been reading how Carol Vorderman got paid 1.2million a year for 40 days work!Even with a 90% cut in pay I still don't think that's bad going.Think I'm going to send off my CV. I could manage very nicely on that salary and could always do a few "consolidate your debts" adverts as a sideline,it's a damn sight easier than working for a living.
