Alas not, can't quite help feeling this is a lost opportunity.I'm totally bemused by the demolition of the Blomfeield "bookends" and their rebuilding 12 metres up Eastgate? What's that all about?Alsot he derelict Templar Building andLyons Works should be saved in my view, much better than a new build. We have lost too many significant building in Leeds and to wilfully demolish them is criminal. Finally the lack of a footbridge to Quarry Hill coccoons the development to the S/E, bad idea as it limits development in that area.
