Welcome home mate!Couldn't you have sent a request to the 'Friendly FireYanks' in Baghdad? They'd be bound to have the latest free sandproof models in their PX! You might have got acrate orf Hershey Bars with Compliments of Uncle Sam!Yessiree Bob!

Cheers mate.I'm back in Basra now mate. I did have a look in the BX in Qatar, a couple of months back, but they weren't that cheaper or much good either. The Yanks aren't doing that bad of job down here now (winkwink) to be honest. I prefer the Tootsie rolls which come in the US ration packs to the Hershey Bars HAHA

Not a helicopter, but did anyone else spot the B-17 'Flying Fortress' over town yesterday? That's a rare bird so I did a bit of googling and found it was the 'Liberty Belle', heading for a 4th July celebration at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, having flown from Georgia via Bangor Maine, Newfoundland, Greenland, Iceland and Glasgpw. Quite a trip for a veteran plane.
