Hi Mick SGC - I too am a shareholder in Kirkstall Abbey you know (only kiddin') as I overlook it from a short distance. Here is a picture I took on a fabulous November day in 2005.And another on a misty morning looking across from Headingley to Bramley - I like to call this one "Lake Kirkstall."

There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

Ah I know where that's from I can just see my house.I used to live right on the other side of the valley, facing pudsey, the sunset was amazing, I've got 1000's of pictures of it.I also used to live just to the left of this shot near Argie Avenue, I've got some from there over the valley when you couldnt see a thing, except for one lonely pylon pointing to the sky. I'll have a dig.P.S I can only see the one picture Links from Flickr seem to work better
I'll be back (arnie)
