Leeds lost pubs

It was called the 'Wyther' for many years - It closed and then reopened as the 'Yorkshireman' - its now demolished. Does anyone remember a pub called The Highfield in Beeston just off Malvern Road.My Great Gran Sarah Brogden (remarried name,originally Stones)and her husband Joe ran the pub in the mid 60s.I've been told that she was the first female president of the Licenced Victuallers Association and Yorkshire Womens Darts Champion but i'm not sure were to look to get written proof of this.My ma used to work behind the bar in the Highfield and used to take me in their when i was a little sprog,she also worked behind the bar in The Blue Ball,which i think was next to The White Hart on Town Street.I have a few family pic's from inside the Highfield and there are some from outside on Leodis.If anyone has any memories of the pub or my great gran (or the Blue Ball) it would be appreciated.
