The pub is behind the old lampost in your shot - the end building.      So the pub is marked off as the actual end building then Si?

That's right. Unless the pub (and Dyson's) owned other buildings in Crown Court, the skulls must have been on that wall.

Ok then. The haunted Leeds book says the skulls were just behind the gate passed the chippy. I keep looking at the overhead shot and see a perfect triangle building until it dog legs in. If you look at the dog leg building you can see there has been alterations and the wall has been rendered. I've got to say I think the skulls must have been there. The wall has now gone.

right then so we have established that dysons owned the building at some point and therefore technically owned the skulls!but does that still give them the right to move the memorial skulls?? sorry i think not!ps/unless this ion dyson bloke was actually related to one of the lads who died???pps/the plot thickens lol

Is there any way of finding out exactly which buildings Dyson's owned? Obviously, the skulls had to be on a wall owned by both the pub and Dysons. Sorry if I'm stating the obvious.Cnosni and myself are agreed that the skulls were carved earlier for some other unknown purpose and a closer look at the photos of them reveals more evidence. The block of stone out of which they are carved is a very irregular shape. If they were carved specifically for the wall, surely the block would be nice and square?

Reading the above I think I might be mistaken in exactly where I remembered seeing the skulls. Anyway I will check out the actual site soon so hopefully actually seeing it will help jog the old brain cells!!!

Ok I've just had it confirmed now. I did want to know for sure yesterday but It's very short notice. Were meeting the reporter at 1 at the Corn Exchange. Can we have some guys for a piccie and talk to the reporter if they can make it? There's me, Csnosi and Drapsey going so far. Come on guys! I'll put a message on the S.L thread too. If we can meet about 12.50 would be great.
