This is healthy as long as it is done in a respectful way.you are over reacting.

As much as I love SL, I do find that quite a few posters are very sensitive. One wrong word, or a joke, not properly backed up as such can really back fire and cause so many problems.

You're right Brandy, and I've already expressed my desire privately to others not to be drawn into such an event. My last post was my last attempt to undo any misconceptions that may have been held by others, which was not an unreasonablething to do.Such a simple statement and a sentiment widely felt. Chameleon's off to blend into the surroundings and eat an Easter egg whilst basking in the sun (no chance there though is there? - anyone for snowballs?)

Quite right Simon, I think it's an element inherent to this means of communication. Face to face one can immediately query a statement to qualify its meaning, and observe body language which can say much and alter perceptions.

I think the sentiments that Chamaleon has raised are pretty much what every one agrees with. I really can't see what issue you have with any of his comments at all. Also coming on the site and calling people fools is maybe not the best way to make friends either. I think your bang out of order. Secret Leeds as a whole is a very friendly site, Debate is good, but people arguing for arguing sake is not something people want to see on here. Chamaleon I agree with you & I don't feel you need to justify your self any further. This thread is supposed to be about an 'abandoned village' and not peoples issues. I have nothing further to say on that matter for that reason.

Chamaleon I agree with you & I don't feel you need to justify your self any further. This threed is about is supposed to be about an 'abandoned village' sand not peoples issues. I have nothing further to say on that matter for that reason. yes it's supposed to be about an abandoned village'an abaondoned village' rife with drug taking, drunkenness, fly tipping vandalism, dangerous driving, and arson. Let's ignore that eh?I live there. To me it's more than just a spooky place that nobody seems to know anything about. However I don't happen to think that the kind of things that go on there are a 'general view' of the way people of a particular generation behave. Am I not entitled to express this view? It is relevant if you live there.

Maybe tell the police this. It's nothing to do with secret Leeds.
