I don't know why I am writing this as I think it is totally wrong, but at the moment I'll plump for the griffin hotel?

Im going for the building on the corner of Park Row and south Parade.Even if im wrong,i think its on Park Row judging by the falling gradient to the left.if not then it could be the old queens hotel.

Munki wrote 'Where IS it?' not where was it, does this mean it still stands perhaps?

Oh dear, I have actually managed to confuse myself slightly here. & I've underestimated you lot, of course. Was there an old Queen's Hotel? The current building was celebrated its 70th birthday last year. Was there a hotel on the site before?

Does that mean it has been mentioned? It doesn't look like the old Queens, the entrance was on the front rather than on the corner on the pics I've seen.

It stood on the present site! Looke a bit like your picture, but there are some major differences!!

Now Iv'e taken an enlarged look at it I may agree, however, south parade has an incline away from Park row, if I'm not mistaken and on the piccie it looks flat, or is it my eyes?
