Spot on bufalloskinner, it is all a matter of perspective. The Tram and the cattle are on New York Street, by the side of what still is a bus station. Quarry Hill is in the background behind the bus station. The bus behind the right hand side of the tram is on Duke Street in front of the building here https://goo.gl/maps/syjNEWxkMtJCkpXF6 that is still there. You can also see the top of what I presume is a gasometer behind itbuffaloskinner wrote: ↑Tue 20 Jun, 2023 9:15 pmThe cows in the photo are actually walking past the Central Bus Station not Quarry HillBillyMorris wrote: ↑Tue 20 Jun, 2023 7:34 pm
I can see that looking at a 60s map but wouldn’t they then have turned left up New York street so wouldn’t have walked past Quarry Hill?

Photo taken from roughly here https://goo.gl/maps/LkyBdCKJ7fB7DhGv5. Quarry Hill would be where Leeds City College is through the trees.
