Hello IsandaI have access to burial records for St Marks,though there are still a good amount of graves still at St Marks i have only recorded those .monumental inscriptions that are of interest to me.Let me know what you are looking for and i will look at the burial records.
Good god the Search works!I was tramping around St Marks today and was suprised at the number of graves that recorded the occupation of the deceased, nore so than other memorials in other cemeteries. Also it seems to be a mid victorian thing.The graveyard is a severe state of dilapidation but throws up all sorts of jems. See below.
War grave for Women's RAF. Formed in 1918 disbanded in 1920. A cursory search of the internet indicate's this lady died of pneumonia though one site does have a picture of her coffin being bourne by women which must have been unusual for the time.
