A good pal of mine Ken Elmy (lived in Beeston) was there about that time and in the RAF. ''till about approx 56. Now lives in Garforth.

Another lad went there about the same time Hinchcliffe, his family had a bakers shop in Barkly Road, Beeston (don,t recall his first name)

Thanks. My dad said there was a boy called david gascoigne who lived at the end of his mother’s street, and the father owned a bakery there.

I spoke to Ken today but he can not remember anyone at all from that time........ sadly
just an age thing.
