PREFAB HOUSING WOODBRIGE GREEN/DRIVE LEEDS

Post by hannahcooper7 »

Hello, i am an art student at Leeds Beckett and am currently studying the prefabrication housing off off Queenswood Road.
If anyone has any information, knowledge of the area or photographs of the housing!

Anything would be a massive help, Many thanks Hannah

Search leodis.net for Headingley and prefab.
One photo with comments from people who lived there.
Leodis is always a good place to start when researching Leeds

Also depending on what you want to know about prefabs in general, rather than that set of prefabs, there's loads more about places like Cottingley

I have done! Thank you both for your help! I just want to see if anyone has any photos from when they were relatively new or from the years after that, specifically in the Woodbridge Garth/close areas

Thank you for your replies!!

If you want to see a preserved Prefab inside and out take a trip to Eden Camp near York.

It used to be said that the statue of the Black Prince had been placed in City Square , near the station, pointing South to tell all the southerners who've just got off the train to b****r off back down south!

My Aunt had one among a small estate in Horseforth and my brother and i sometimes stayed there as my cousins were about the same age and they possessed a Radiogram plus a stack of 78s.
Sadly my cousin Peter Gaunt passed away just last week.
