Off topic I know but for those interested in trams, the photographer who took this photo seems to have a shared interest. There are a few tram photos taken from the same place on the Leodis site using City Centre and North Street, search keywords.

I think you might be right Warrington... I can just make out the "Arthur English" on the bottom left of the original photo... Funny perspective, makes it look close that what it is...warringtonrhino wrote:I think it may be this building? from the Leodis site.

If you look closely you will see the name on the shop in the distance is actually Arthur Cook, the same as in the leodis picture I posted earlier. The chimneys and the small dormer windows also match. A side window of the Dispensary can just be seen under the ABC sign.

Indeed it does! I need to start using the desktop more and not my phone. It's far to small. Cheers MiggyBill.

Not sure about Casa Loco's previous existence but the one on Park Place could be Bar Med, Parkers, Butterfly Lounge or Burgundy perhaps?

Re: Lost Night-Clubs of Leeds!
Hmmm, just found this site and amazingly I am in a post.
Yes the club was called Valentinos.
Downstairs was all in green and white. A little unusual for a nightclub.
The Greek nights were amazing with all of the friends/associates of Paul and Costa.
The chef smoked cigars all the time!
The coffee bar above was really good - I did the sound system for it.
