Chimney outside new university library

Does anyone know why a scale
model of a chimney is being erected outside the new university library on Woodhouse lane?

Hi Cardiarms.
A picture would have been helpful, I just wonder if it's just a chimney, or is it going to be a model of john smeatons (born 8 june 1724) lighthouse.Leeds university is very proud of its civil engineering heritage as depicted in a stained glass frieze just inside the entrance to the CEM building.but I may be very wrong.
