Great video Phill - spooky, haunting and very atmospheric.I'm certainly not going anywhere near that place after dark now....I wonder if the buyers of all those executive flats know whats just across the way...?

Exactly thats what i was thinking Ravey. It's a strange place now.. half residential in the middle of a building site with these few blocks left as i reminder of what it was! This was one of the last mental health places to close.. The urb exers love these Asylums, There all documented in the greatest detail... It's that spooky atmosphere i think!

Hey csnosi it's working now! Huh?Yes thats the one Roundhegian. I went back today to finish some stuff i didn't have time for last week but the dam weather was just as bad, I'm sad to say the white dove in the clock tower must have been clever enough to get in but not back out again.. Poor thing dead on the floor this morning

Rather poignant really Phill and, sadly the same fate as many of the incumbents from the past.

Yes we had a look at the little chapel over the road were 2,858 patients from High Royds are buried.. Theres only 4 graves in the whole place.. The rest are all unmarked. Thats pretty sad.. I'll put a few pics on here later. I'm just putting a few spook shots on mi flickr now
