i grew up in bramley, and have always said putsey, without the d, never thought i was saying it wrong, i now live in orsfth, without the h or o.

Has anyone mentioned 'spice' for 'sweets' - or 'spanish' for 'licqourice'??

I use Gubbins to refer to things like the internals of a machine or an engine and the like! suppose it's generic for 'stuff'

How about 'Youre gonna get battered after school'. Or 'told me mam n youre gonna get done'.One of my Grandmas favourites (but she was originally from Lancs) was 'youre enough to mek a bloody parson swear you are'
