The amount of real information provided on this site is amazing -- I tend to keep quiet (apart from this sort of thing) -- I have had disagreements with my old, Bradfordian, mother and seen this site as the main google result. I only hope I can contribute to the site.

I agree that the thng which makes this site is the quality of the content and that the contributors care about "our city". It would be nice if there were more activity but I think it's better to have a little less and have good information and thoughtful comentary rather than a lot of nothing much. Agree with you both 100% and also have no intentions of joining FB.

Although I do have a FB account I don't use it as I'm not interested in sport or the various doings of this weeks "celeb".The SL2 site is good but but it lacks the simplicity and order of threads. Another one that I look at occasionally is Leeds Back in the Day. Not because it is of much interest - although it has turned up one or two gems, but for the comedy value. Many of the users being under the impression that Leeds was invented in 1995. Any chance you could contact me please, Liits?

My knowledge of Leeds is from a four year presence with many later visits, and find SL an extremely interesting source of information. I would agree entirely with the previous posts that FB offers nothing particulalrly desirable, in that a Facebook page often provides random comments interspersed with some information, and membership involves the possibility of peculiar attempts to contact you by those playing strange games and by commercial organisations who I have no interest in the subject of the group

Shakes head lol I'm not really sure how come this post about when will the new look Secret Leeds be available has turned into a forum versus facebook thread. One thing is for certain though - without the S.L facebook group and their team work efforts to get this site back up and running, this forum we are using today wouldn't even exist *Secret Leeds website set to make return*http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/n ... -1-5199173
