Tetley Bittermen? "Ready when you are, Bob" (Tets mild.) Does anyone remember the un-PC John Smiths ad where two furnace workers invite their new Asian workmate to the pub after work. Cut to pub, and the new chap downs his pint in one. One of the lads says, "Blimey! You'd think 'e were born 'ere!" The Asian guy replies, "Ah were, lad....Ah were."They certainly don't make 'em like that anymore!!!CheersSi Deffo remember that advert, was i just an innocent child absorbing all these tv adverts for beer, and as a consequence being changed into a beer monster? No,i was born to be a beer monster!!

A newly uncovered sign is on the martial arts school building behind Mike's Carpets, only spotted it about a week ago. Quite a big one, but only a partial sign. Something about drawings. Someone go and snap it before it disappears again!I also spotted a small one in the archway of a building towards the end of Whitehall road just before you reach the mini roundabout by Leeds central station - it's on the south side of this road, about the second building before the roundabout. Not easy to spot, not sure if it's been featured before.I'll see if I can get these sometime, it's difficult with the dark evenings! That Kirkstall Ales one is on the back of the Brudenell Liquor Store, isn't it? If not, that's another one.

Although this one on Harehills lane has just emerged in the last week from behind the shop sign that's been just been removed.. I was pleased to see this one again
Cheers

I saw this uncovered sign and made a mental note to take a pic when I got the chance - but I noticed yesterday a huge advertising board has been placed over it. Our 'window of opportunity' was only a few days!! bah!
