Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?

Filming going on at Kirkstall Abbey this weekend - lots of vans in the grounds and also at the far end of the BHS car park. Not sure what - maybe more DCI Banks.

Passing by the King Lane Park & Ride site an hour or so back today I noticed very many film vans there, so there will be (or has been) some filming in the area.

They were filming around the King Lane Park and Ride all weekend. From the looks of it they've used Allerton High and a few locations along King Lane beyond the Ring Road. Not sure what they're filming but it looked fairly big budget with the number of vans around.

There was some filming at the old Yorkshire Bank site on Harrogate Road down the side of Allerton Hill 2/3 weeks ago also.

Filming on York Place & Park Place today for new programme "Get Santa" aimed at kids presumably for this Xmas, stars Jim Broadbent & Rafe Spall.Supposed to be car chases, and streets cordoned from 8a.m. today until 4a.m. tomorrow, but no screaming cars so far (it is outside my office). all parking suspended on both streets.

I was going to post about this myself Steve. You've beaten me to it.Drove around Park Square and through the diversion on St Paul's Street and Park Place on my way home tonight. All the parking spaces were being coned off as they became vacant, or so it looked to me. What I can add is that there was a car transporter/recovery type vehicle on the south side of Park Place with two police cars on it. All ready for the action.
