I've only ever hear this song sung once at the old Parkside ground in the sixties, I wonder if anyone on here recalls the words. Try "You Tube" Major. From what I can gather there aren't many more words to it apart from repeating. "and so we shall again". Apparently it was originally a Russian folk song. Hope this is some help to you. Just done that, ta. I must admit I thought there was more to it than that It'd be a shame if the old RL anthems die out, Old Faithful, When the Red Red Robin etc.

I was told years ago that Leeds R.L.'s anthem, before they became Rhinos, was the Sir Harry Lauder song "Keep Right On To The End Of The Road, though I can never recall hearing it sung. Does anyone have any info?

I remember my friend the late Joe Cooper of 'The Case of the Cottingley Fairies' fame was old pals with Peter O'Toole and he even acted on stage with him in Leeds back in the mid 20th century. They were reunited back in 1997 when Peter O'Toole and Joe worked on the film 'Fairytale - A True Story' where O'Toole played Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Joe Cooper was a special advisor to the production. So many great figures from that era are sadly passing away and who have we got to replace them... Alan Titchmarsh...?!
