On pages 6 to 7 in the YEP today (August 19 2013) there is an interesting report relating to the many objects unearthed during the restoration of the City Varieties (CV). The YEP states the work "will take another six months, but once finished the archives will be housed at the West Yorkshire Archive Service, down the road in Morley, where they will be available to the public". The "down the road in Morley" bit made me . OK, the expression does not necessarily mean next door but I would hardly class Morley as being "down the road" from the CV, though the "in Morley" is right.
