Some of the buildings on that picture, around where the number '10c' is, are still there, and others have only been demolished fairly recently.

according to my Dad's friend who works there, (i dont know if this is true or not) in one of the bunkers there are some WW2 vehicles stored incase they were ever needed again!! they are still there now!! well so he says!!

Hello My Aunty who died recently worked at thorp arch during the war , I have been going through her photos and have found one of her with some girls at thorp arch during the war . I will download the photo if anyone is interested.Biffy

My Aunt Vera Smith (backrow in the middle ), she worked at thorp arch during the second world war in the munitions factory .I am not sure who the other girls are .

Supposedly from friends who played on there as kids circa 1960, there's a mass of underground tunnels under there's aswell, I case mr hitler bombed it they could still transport munitions around, according to form from other people there's around 500 ww2 vehicles buries in the tunnels that they couldn't transport out...would be a good find if the was
